Exosome Omics Analysis Service
Inquiry
Comprehensive exosome omics analysis enables comprehensive molecular profiling of exosomal cargo, such as proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids, unlocking critical insights into cancer biology, biomarker discovery, and therapeutic development. At Alfa Cytology, we provide integrated exosome multi-omics services combining advanced isolation, high-throughput profiling, and AI-powered data analysis to accelerate your oncology research programs.
Introduction to Exosome Omics
Exosome omics analysis is a high-throughput strategy for systematically deciphering the molecular composition and functions of exosomes. By integrating multiple omics layers, including transcriptomics, proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics, researchers can obtain a comprehensive view of exosomal molecular composition and identify tumor-specific signatures for early detection, prognosis prediction, and therapeutic monitoring. Each omics layer addresses a different biological question: transcriptomics captures gene regulation signals, proteomics identifies functional pathways and surface markers, lipidomics characterizes membrane properties and signaling, and metabolomics reflects metabolic states and treatment response. In oncology preclinical research, exosome multi-omics analysis supports the following core application areas:
 Tumor Liquid Biopsy |
 Tumor Microenvironment Research |
 Targeted Therapy Development |
 Companion Diagnostic Development |
 Drug Resistance Mechanism Studies |
 Tumor Heterogeneity Analysis |

Workflow of Exosome Omics Analysis
Our multi-omics workflow adheres to international guidelines including MISEV2023, ensuring rigorous quality control at every step from sample to data.
Sample Pre-processing and Quality Control
Rigorous quality checks remove cellular debris and impurities while protecting fragile RNA, protein, and metabolite markers from degradation. For biofluid samples (plasma or serum), we recommend 3–5 mL; for cell culture supernatants, 50–100 mL is suggested to ensure in-depth analysis.
Exosome Isolation and Quality Control
High-purity isolation is achieved using ultracentrifugation, size-exclusion chromatography, or immunoaffinity capture, flexibly selected based on sample type and downstream applications. Multi-dimensional quality validation is performed via NTA, TEM, and western blot.
Parallel Cargo Extraction
Our proprietary "one-step" protocol enables simultaneous extraction of RNA, proteins, and lipids from limited sample volumes, minimizing sample loss, particularly suitable for precious clinical specimens such as cerebrospinal fluid and trace tumor tissue supernatants.
High-Throughput Multi-Omics Profiling
Transcriptomics is performed via NGS on the Illumina NovaSeq platform, while proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics are analyzed using high-resolution LC-MS/MS systems.
Integrated Bioinformatics Analysis
Multi-omics data integration is conducted using advanced algorithms including MOFA, WGCNA, and Canonical Correlation Analysis. Pathway co-enrichment analysis is performed through KEGG, Reactome, and GO databases, followed by molecular interaction network construction.
Data Delivery and Interpretation
We provide complete raw data, normalized data matrices, differential expression analysis, and pathway enrichment reports, along with publication-ready figure.
