Alfa Cytology - Cancer Drug R&D Services

Exosome Isolation & Characterization Service

Inquiry

High-quality exosome isolation and characterization are the foundation of cancer biomarker discovery, liquid biopsy development, and targeted therapeutic delivery. At Alfa Cytology, we provide comprehensive exosome isolation and characterization services tailored to diverse biofluids and research objectives, ensuring high-purity exosome recovery and accelerating your oncology preclinical programs through rigorous quality control.

Introduction to Exosome Isolation and Characterization

Exosomes are nanoscale extracellular vesicles (30–150 nm in diameter) actively secreted by nearly all cell types, including tumor cells. They carry a diverse array of bioactive molecules, including proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids (DNA, mRNA, miRNA, lncRNA, and circRNA), that precisely reflect the biological and pathological state of their parent cells. Within the tumor microenvironment (TME), exosomes serve as critical mediators of intercellular communication, transferring molecular signals between tumor cells, immune cells, and stromal cells to regulate tumor proliferation, angiogenesis, pre-metastatic niche formation, immune checkpoint activation, and acquisition of drug resistance. However, the research value of exosomes is highly dependent on isolation purity and characterization completeness. Efficiently obtaining high-purity, high-activity exosomes from complex biofluids, while removing cell debris, lipoproteins, soluble proteins, and other non-target vesicles, is essential to unlocking their full potential in preclinical applications.

In oncology preclinical research, high-purity exosome samples support the following core application areas:

Tumor Liquid Biopsy

Tumor Microenvironment Research

Targeted Therapy Development

Companion Diagnostic Development

Drug Resistance Mechanism Studies

Tumor Heterogeneity Analysis
