Imaging Services for the Acidic Tumor Microenvironment

Relying on the technology platform of the tumor microenvironment center, Alfa Cytology provides a full range of acidic tumor microenvironment (TME) imaging services to help researchers successfully achieve their research goals.

Introduction

Among all features of the TME caused by abnormal proliferation of solid tumors, extracellular acidity is an important indicator of malignancy grading. The acidic microenvironment of solid tumors plays a key role in their malignant biological behaviors such as development, invasion and metastasis. Therefore, being able to qualitatively and quantitatively measure the pH of the extracellular environment of tumors is of great significance for early diagnosis, evaluation of tumor development, and monitoring the efficacy of clinically applied anticancer drugs. Imaging assays have the potential for early tumor diagnosis, proper disease management, guiding individualized therapy, and evaluating efficacy. Non-invasive in vivo, real-time dynamic and quantitative imaging of the acidic tumor microenvironment is necessary.

Our Services

Alfa Cytology investigates imaging methods to assess the spatial and temporal patterns of the acidic TME. We integrate multiple imaging techniques, and our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Service for Acidic Tumor Microenvironment
MRI provides non-invasive in vivo, real-time dynamic and quantitative imaging of the tumor acidic microenvironment, which has the potential for early tumor diagnosis, proper disease management, guidance of individualized treatment, and evaluation of efficacy.
  • Contrast-Based Imaging Service for Acidic Tumor Microenvironment
Alfa Cytology also offers contrast-based imaging of the tumor acidic microenvironment. Different contrast agents, including fluorescence, positron emission tomography (PET), single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and magnetic resonance (MR) contrast agents with pHLIP are used to target acidic TME.

Note: Our services list is constantly being updated and improved, please contact us by email for more up-to-date and relevant information.

Alfa Cytology has the technical power and imaging-related expertise to combine with existing organoid models to analyze biological questions in cancer metabolism that will rapidly advance your research.
